Location Webinar Timezone GMT - Europe/London
Overview:
This webinar will provide an overview of best practices for global quality control and harmonisation of flow cytometers across our global flow cytometry lab locations.
What will you learn?
- Industry best practices for harmonisation of flow cytometry data
- Where bench-side quality control testing fits into larger quality management structures
- ‘Total Error Allowable’ and ‘Statistical Process Controls’ as applied to real-time quality control monitoring of flow cytometry assay performance.
Who may this interest?
- Flow cytometry scientists, managers, directors, at Clinical Research Organisations, and Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies.
Brendan Ffrench
Brendan has extensive expertise in flow cytometry (15+ years). At ICON Central Laboratories, he manages the flow cytometry team at the Dublin location, which is part of the globally harmonised network of ICON flow labs spanning Lenexa, New York, Dublin, Assen, Singapore and Beijing. Along with the Global Flow Cytometry Management team is involved in innovating ICON’s flow operations quality systems, enhancing performance across CAP/CLIA/ISO:15189 environments, and championing data-driven improvements in flow cytometry assays to support clinical trials with cellular immunology read-outs.
Joanne Cuomo
Joanne holds a BS in Biology, and has 40+ years experience in Flow Cytometry. She joined ICON in 2005, as Manager of Cellular Immunology/Flow Cytometry developing assays and overseeing operations in the acquisition and analysis of flow cytometric assays for multiple disease monitoring. Prior to ICON, Joanne worked for a major Long Island NY Hospital performing clinical Flow Cytometry on all sample types for Lymphoma/Leukemia and HIV patients.
