Clinical Research Associate II

The Global Strategic Solutions (GSS) team at ICON is the world's largest provider of functional service provisions (FSPs), with offices across the globe. Being international, we have a large team of talented professionals, helping us to make a difference and improve patient outcomes. Among the team are Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) who are responsible for the safety and proper conduct throughout a clinical trial, among many other things.

We spoke to Christina, who is a CRA with the GSS team in Australia. She first joined the company in 2018 and has since been promoted from a CRA I to a CRA II. She tells us that her development and career aspirations have been greatly supported by the ICON management team. Christina is eager to progress into a Senior CRA role and says that her line manager is continuously supporting her to take on the extra responsibilities that will help her achieve this goal.

It’s not only the management team who Christina enjoy working with, but it’s the entire GSS team.

She explains that everyone has helped to create a collaborative environment and a warm culture that is really welcoming. They are never afraid to ask each other questions and help each other out and Christina tells us that this makes GSS a really great team to be a part of.
